This is the first assignment of photography class. First, it is about 5 photograph by 5 professional photogrphers each. We are called to make research of photographers and explain why we like the work. Harold Davis is an internationally-known digital artist and award-winning professional photographer. He is also the author of many bestselling photography books including The Way of the Digital Photographer (Peachpit Press, awarded as a Best Photography Book of the Year by Photo.net). Harold’s book, Achieving Your Potential As a Photographer: A Photographer’s Creative Companion and Workbook (Focal Press), has been termed “a great accomplishment” by Steven Pressfield.
James Grant is a professional landscape photographer who specialises and loves all things mountains, hills and coast. He is based on the border of the stunning Peak District National Park, where he has spent many years exploring every nook and cranny, subsequently producing Amazons most reviewed book on the area called Peak District Through The Lens. My interest in photography did not begin with books or mentors but evolved through a fascination of the natural world that shaped all parts of my life and brought them together.
