Grit & Grace Exhibition

-the grandeur of monochrome malaysia

SC Shekar

-Educated in Kuala Lumpur & Australia, Shekar began as a photojournalist at the STAR newspaper in the early 80’s where his work won many Photo Awards .

The Grit & Grace exhibition is  facinating which runs for a month from 16th September to 16th October at the old OCBC Bank building located right behind Central Market. The photo exhibition will also go on a roadshow to different regions of the country in the first half of 2018.

It was a great experience to see such a wonderful work pieces by Mr. Shekar. It's all in monochrome but it gives me a different feeling between other photographs. Although it is not in colourful pattern, but I can still feel the emotion inside the photo. The way he took all those photos are interesting and far dangerous as he had explained to us. His passion on photography motivates me and I like it very much too. He told us that we can follow our own style to take any photo we like,it's about love and passion, but not about money.

Below are 3 photos that I like the most in the exhibition.

Temurun Waterfalls found within the Mat Cincang Nature Park in Langkawi,Kedah.
